We Are The Arched Shutter Experts!
Fully Rotating Contoured ShuttersFull-View Arched Shutter panels from O’Hair feature an industry first in contour design allowing all louvers, including fractional top louvers, to operate in full rotation (same as rectangular panels). Enjoy the full range of view this remarkable design delivers; available with the conventional center tilt or the unique Horizon™ tilt system.
True Contour
Rails are contoured to the 1/16 inch for tailoring that is “true-to-window”. Louvers as well as rails are milled using computer controlled machining for an accurate and repeatable fit.Full Functionality
Every louver fully rotates (same as rectangular panels) and is controlled either by a tilt rod, or in the case of louvers above the tilt rod, by use of a rear linkage system.Real Joinery
The Full-View Arched Shutter design preserves critical joinery details (standard to all shutter panels from O’Hair) for extraordinary strength. Contour rails are joined to stiles using mortise & tenon, wet-to-wet application of glue, and “drawtight” assembly screws. Contour louvers pivot on monolithic tenons (formed from the louver profile itself).Options
Full-View Arched Shutter panels are available in all O’Hair surface types, louver spacings, and tilt systems.Other Popular Custom Shutter Options
The HorizonTM Tilt System
The Horizon™ tilt system provides a view that is uninterrupted by a conventional center tilt rod. Instead, at each side, a special contour tilt rod overlaps the vertical stiles providing complete privacy! It gives shutters a modern, clean look that works well with today’s residential design.SandbrushedTM Relieved Woodgrain Shutters
The Sandbrushed™ finish upgrade appeals to those who appreciate the natural beauty of wood. This special sanding process gives the shutter louvers a natural texture and added dimension by relieving the grain of the wood. It looks great with both stained and painted finishes.Common Specialty Applications Include
• Arched or angled windows and doors• Lever style door handle cut outs
• Unusually shaped windows (octagon, oval, circular)
• Sunburst and eyebrow windows
• Sliding track shutter panels
