The thoroughness was in carefully reinstalling each blind in the correct window (they are slightly different sizes) and checking to be sure they worked right. One was fine, but the other didn't go up & down right, so he did a careful diagnostic and tried to adjust it. When that didn't do the trick, he made a narrated video to illustrate what was wrong for the factory repair. The kindness was that after he finished with the blinds, he had some extra time, to he cleared a path up our steep, icy driveway so we could safely leave the house and get our mail! We met with Tara and enjoyed discussing options for the windows. She was very personable and her knowledge of the blinds and options were a great help to us. We ordered a 9' wide blind with a motor and a 6' wide unit without a motor. Jason came out to install the new blinds and told us he'd be back - the 6' blind came in damaged and he'd need to have a replacement ordered. We worked with Ethan and upgraded the replacement to match the bigger window with a motor. We then discussed adding the hub to allow networking and control of the windows remotely. Ethan took care of us and helped ensure we ended up with a great solution. Tara, Jason and Ethan were all outstanding. We love the blinds and the customer focused support we got from the Austin Window Fashions team!! After I selected the blinds I wanted, they came to install them within 2.5 weeks which is not too bad. The install job was perfect and my house looks great! Highly recommend!
