The installers, Jason and Cody were great. They were very efficient, walked me through how to maintain the shades and my warranty options. My sales person told me that spacers were ordered for my outer mounted shades since we needed some extra clearance but the installers showed me that the order didn't come with any; luckily they had extras in the truck. I asked the sales person about this and they said "I do request extra spaces with each order. Our installers are supposed to carry them on the truck so I am glad they had extras." There seems to be a broken process here that the company needs to address. As an engineer, I ask a lot of direct and detailed questions and for data and I think all the questions ended up bothering my sales person. Kathy at Austin Window Fashions was patient, helpful, and honest and helped me make decisions easily (vs. getting overwhelmed by options). Our main priority was blacking out our room in an aesthetically pleasing fashion, and we succeeded! The bedrooms get COMPLETELY dark with the honeycomb shades and the light lock channels. My toddler is falling asleep more easily and getting at least 30 more minutes of sleep, and my husband and I are sleeping so much better — no more annoying light in our eyes after our sleep masks inevitably fall off
