Recently, Austin Window Fashions installed new Hunter Douglas Provenance Woven shades in the Clubhouse of the brand new Edgewater Luxury Apartment community in Pflugerville. This new apartment complex features amazing amenities and has gone all out on the decor of the Clubhouse and office. Situated beside a resort worthy swimming pool, the Clubhouse contains the management offices, as well as a computer center, state-of-the-art gym facilities, including yoga room, plus a resident’s lounge.
Professionally designed and decorated in a ‘Cape Cod Beach-Chic’ theme, the whole clubhouse really looks like something right out of a magazine.
The management team at Edgewater reached out to Austin Window Fashions to add the finishing touch of window treatments. Veteran Design Consultant, Kathy Wallace worked on the project. “This project was such a treat to work on because the building and space is just so beautiful!” said Wallace.
Ashlyn Delong, the community manager at the new Edgewater Apartments, loves the new window coverings: “They just add such warmth to the decor. Everything was so white and bare, and the shades really brought some contrast into the room.”
Another pair of potential future residents just couldn’t get over what a beautiful clubhouse this new apartment community offers. The window coverings fit the decor like they were made for it… and in fact, these custom window coverings from Austin Window Fashions were made for it.
A wooden table by the window is surrounded by a set of woven sea-grass wicker style chairs. The Hunter Douglas Provenance woven grass shades matched them perfectly.
The natural fiber of the Provenance shades added a wonderful texture in contrast to the smooth white walls.
And a helpful feature of these woven shades is that they are great for allowing a warm glow of light to come in, but also obscuring the view outside. Several of the windows face a heavy traffic highway, but with the shades set half way down, it conveniently blocks the view of the cars, while adding elegance to the room.
These Hunter Douglas Provenance shades also feature the LiteRise lifting system. It’s very convenient because the shades can be set at any height. There are no dangling cords- just a light tug on the bottom rail to pull the shades down closed, or a gentle lift and the shades raise, stacking up in a roman shades style.
